Are you domiciled in a paid parking zone or blue zone? Then you can apply for a resident card so you can park in your resident zone for free and without a time limit.
Via the "residents' parking card" on www.bredene.be, you can consult where residents' parking applies. If you are domiciled in this zone, you can apply for two resident cards per address.

Conditions
To get a residents' card, you (as the applicant) and your car must meet certain conditions.
As an applicant, you must:
- live in a paid parking zone or a blue zone
- be registered in the population register of your municipality at the address for which you apply for a resident card
- have the correct driving licence for the car for which you are applying for the residents' card.
The car for which you are applying for the card:
- Is registered in your name.
Do you drive a leased or company car? Then you must prove that you have the car permanently at your disposal.
Attention
- A maximum of two resident cards are available per address.
- In the shopping and pedestrian area of Duinenstraat, the 30-minute blue zone also applies to holders of a resident card. You must always put your parking disc there!
- The residents' card is a digital registration. You do not need to stick a paper vignette or other registration certificate behind the windscreen. The parking supervisors immediately see whether you have a valid permit for the zone in which your car is parked.
- Once your residents' parking permit is in order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

You are driving a private vehicle registered in another person's name:
Insurance policy stating that the applicant is the main driver of the vehicle.
You are driving a company vehicle or leased vehicle (employees).
- Attestation from your employer or leasing company confirming that you have permanent possession of the company vehicle.
- Copy of the leasing contract.
You drive a company vehicle or leased vehicle (business owners):
- Copy statutes Belgian Official Gazette showing that you are a business manager.
- Copy of the leasing contract.

You apply for the residents card at the counter at the technical administration of the town hall or you can apply or renew your residents card via the digital platform(https://bredene.q2c.eu ). Applications are processed digitally. You will no longer receive a paper card.
