The local council is organising a big St Nicholas treasure hunt for all children, based on the picture book ‘Sinterklaas gaat naar Sjinka Poenka’ by Kathleen Amant, from 16 November to 6 December inclusive.
How can you take part?
Taking part in the treasure hunt is free. Do make sure to collect your treasure hunt pack in advance from the library (Centrumplein 3) or the tourist office (Kapelstraat 76).
Where does the treasure hunt take place?
The trail starts at the tourist information office and then continues through the town centre. Look for the various ‘Pietjes’ at the shops in Bredene-Duinen.
When?
You can do the treasure hunt whenever you like. If you’d like to go outside the opening hours of the library or the tourist information office, please make sure to collect your treasure hunt pack in advance.
Don’t forget
Bring your colouring picture and St Nicholas passport with you and pop them in the letterbox for St Nicholas. Be sure to include all your details on them. That way, you’ll be in with a chance of winning the book ‘Sinterklaas gaat naar Sjinka Poenka’.
